I know it’s trendy and kind pretty common in the bullet journal community, but I’m obsessed with florals. I want to learn how to draw them all. To start, I snagged a copy of How to Draw Modern Florals by Alli Koch. Her work is mesmerizing, and her book is stellar. I just got it the other day and I’ve already spent hours practicing!
But, even with the gorgeous, more realistic florals, my specialty lies more in the doodle category. I love coming up with quick and easy floral doodles to incorporate into my journal. From flowers and succulents in pots and vases to single stem florals and full bouquets. It’s pure obsession.
So, I wanted to share some quick and fairly simple floral doodles here on the blog. And I’ve taken it a step further and put together a video and a PDF for quick reference.

These drawings are so cute! I love the idea of practicing the shapes over and over. I’ve always just done it once and then I wonder why my drawing hasn’t improved hahaha! I too love the floral drawings people put in their journal. I love the black ink on white paper doodles. It looks sharp!
