I have some very exciting news! My husband and I booked our first EVER international trip.
In January we will depart the USA and head to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This trip has awakened my wanderlust and it has me daydreaming of faraway lands. And of course, I’m pre-planning my travel bullet journal pages. I legitimately have hundreds of ideas going through my head that I want to put on paper.
Whenever I’m stuck for what to add to open spaces in my journal, I turn to 2 things. Doodles and quotes. And as much as I absolutely love doodling, sometimes it’s not the vibe I’m going for. So, instead, I reach for a quote.
I pull most of my quotes from Pinterest. It’s quick and easy to search for quotes and you can click on one and view others that are related.
So, as I was browsing wanderlust quotes, I thought it would be fun to compile a list of these quotes for quick reference for you!
When applicable, I have added the author of the quote. If the author is unknown, it is specified as well.
And if you need help designing your quote, different from what you see here, check out The Ultimate Bullet Journal Lettering Guide post. It goes over many different styles including print fonts and calligraphy fonts. Then, use your pencil to play around with different layouts and combinations of font types.
And, feel free to share your dream vacation in the comments below. I want to know where you want to go!
How To Add Quotes to Your Bullet Journal

I love adding quotes in my bullet journal. For one, it’s an easy way to fill up empty space, and for two, quotes can be very motivational or inspirational.
It’s common to feel a bit of intimidation you want to start adding quotes to your bullet journal. Trying to make the words look nice and have a complimentary composition is an art form. But, that doesn’t mean that you can’t learn how to write beautiful quotes.
If you haven’t yet, I highly suggest you take advantage of Skillshare’s Free 2-Month trial. You can cancel anytime, and they offer such a huge array of in-depth online courses in creativity and art. In the past year, I have taken a few courses in hand lettering on Skillshare and have learned much quicker than I ever could have practicing on my own.
Whether you have no experience with lettering or have some knowledge and skill, there are so many courses to expand your skillset. Get your Free 2-Months of Skillshare here.
Aside from learning composition and spending time practicing your lettering style, it’s important to start with materials that will make the process easier and more enjoyable. Check out the brush markers below for an idea of where to start.

Charlotte Birkebæk Truelsen says
Hi.
I dream of (and plan to) move to Northern Norway next summer and live there for a year all by myself.
I am 51 years old, living in Denmark with my husband and our 21-year-old son (our 24-year-old son has move out), but my family will stay in Denmark.
I don’t know where to stay or if I can find a job (I have been saving money for quite a long time, so I can manage to be without job in the beginning)…
I don’t know why this dream is so important to me, but I know that I got to do EVERYTHING I can to make it happen, or I will regret it for the rest of my life…
Best regards to everyone,
Charlotte

Charlotte, you don’t need a reason for your dream to ve valid and valuable to you. I hope you get to do it next year and that the experience is everything you dream of. I wish you all the best. I hear Norway is stunning. Sending all my warmest regards.
