February is a great month for doodling. Find a February art challenge that isn’t just about Valentine’s Day can be hard. For this month’s February drawing challenge, you’ll see some hearts, but the main theme of the doodle challenge is the color RED!

February Drawing Challenge
If you follow me on Instagram you know about the Oodles of Doodles Challenge. You can follow the challenge using the hashtag #OodlesofDoodles but you don’t have to be on Instagram! You can get all of this month’s prompts further down in this post.
When I was was planning the prompts for this month’s doodle challenge, I wanted to do sweet treats, but then I remember we had done it in the past!
If you love the idea of drawing tons of sweet treats this month, be sure to check out the February Doodle Challenge from a few years ago. The prompts work for any time!
Instead I decided to start a theme I’d like to follow the next few months and focus on a particular color.

FEBRUARY DOODLE THEME: RED
For your February drawing collection, the theme will be the color red. That doesn’t mean you can ONLY use the color red.
It means that every doodle should have the color red in it though! I think we’ll all end up with a page of doodles that looks very thematic.
Starting with the name of the month in red letters, the color theme will carry through each doodle a day!
