For the December Doodle Challenge, I had to go with the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season has always been my favorite time of the year. I just love the magic of it all. This year the theme is things that are red and green!
If you follow me on Instagram you’re probably familiar with Stop Drop Doodle Challenge. You can follow the challenge using the hashtag #StopDropDoodle but you don’t have to be on Instagram to doodle this month! You can get all of the doodle a day prompts below.
If you’re looking for more December doodle prompts, be sure to check out the Christmas Doodle Challenge from a few years ago. It has some similar prompts as this year’s challenge but mixes them up too!

December Doodle Challenge
While I know many of us celebrate a variety of holidays and traditions during December, my family celebrates Christmas.
We do a lot of different decorating themes but classic red and green always show up. This year our outdoor decor is all red and green lights!

Doodle Supplies
This month I’m going to continue to use my Magicfly Dual Tip Brush Pens. They’re some of my favorites because they’re affordable (and often on sale on Amazon) and they have so many different colors!

I chose them again this month because the pen set comes with a ton of different shades of every color. These Decmebers doodles have the potential to use a lot of different colors, so having different shades to choose from should work well.
The one thing I did do when I got my Magifly Pens was number each of them with a Sharpie and create a swatch page so I could see what the colors really looked like once they were on paper. Most of them match well with the cap color but there were some unexpected surprises!

More About Bullet Journal Doodles
Many of us do our daily doodle in our bullet journals. You can draw out a grid like my example below from a past doodle challenge. Or you can do more of a freehand layout where you just fit the doodles in wherever they work on the page.

But if you’re looking for something you don’t have to set up, each month I make a doodle challenge printable page that you can download!
The doodle page has a box for every day of the month and the prompts are listed on the page so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of the daily prompts. Each day will be waiting for you!
