I’ve been on my “weight loss journey for 4 years”. Initially, I was super committed. I lost over 40lbs. in the first year and managed to keep it off. However, now I’m pushing to lose the last 15ish pounds before my wedding in July, and it’s a struggle.
I love good food. My family loves good food. We gather around food and it has become a big part of our social lives. So, while I’m very knowledgeable in nutrition, I still struggle to find balance with food. And because my fiance is not the least bit interested in changing his diet (he has an insanely high metabolism), I have a small support system.
Having a good support system is often considered one of the biggest contributing factors in successful weight loss. So, with that in mind, I decided that I wanted to create my own community support system. And thus, this idea for a bullet journal weight loss group was born.
Bullet journaling has helped me achieve some of my biggest goals. And, since my first journal, I have included weight loss spreads and ideas in my journal. These spreads have kept me motivated and inspired. I know for a fact that with a support group, these spreads and ideas can work for other people too. So, as of March April 2018, I’m starting a Bullet Journal Weight Loss Challenge Group.
How It Works
Anyone is welcome to sign-up for this challenge completely free. Shortly after signing up you will receive an email that welcomes you to the challenge and provides a link to the Private Facebook Group for this challenge. While you are not required to have a Facebook to participate, this is where you will receive support, be able to ask questions and post about your progress, struggles, etc.
Following the first email, you will be sent regular emails with tips, health and fitness bullet journal page inspiration, workouts you can do from home, recipes, and more. Also, within the group, you will discuss these topics, share your progress, participate in mini-challenges, and provide advice to one another.

What You Need for the Bullet Journal Weight Loss Challenge
There are no requirements for this challenge. However, because much of it focuses on using your bullet journal to achieve your goals, you will need a journal and a writing instrument. If you’re undecided on a notebook, you can check out this post on my top-rated dot grid notebooks.
As for pens and markers, here are my recommendations:
However, you do not need a special notebook or pen for this challenge. If you have a blank notebook on hand and a handy pen you accidentally borrowed from the bank, that will work to get you started. Don’t let a lack of supplies hold you back from joining in on this challenge. In the same hand, don’t let a lack of creativity stop you either. This isn’t a competition to see who is the most creative, but rather a group striving for the same end result.
