Whether you are lacking the time to create a monthly layout or just want a super quick setup, printables are the perfect solution.
I’ve been creating bullet journal printables and adding them to my Free Resource Library since this blog started in Early 2017 – there’s a lot of printables in there, as you can imagine.
But still, my style isn’t for everyone. And why not share the love and promote others who work hard to create free printables?

5 Mini Habit Trackers by The Petite Planner
These are some of my favorites. I’m in love with things that are little so mini habit trackers are some of my favorite bullet journal elements. You can fit these in on any page where you want a tracker but have limited space.
If you’re looking for ways to customize these, I’ve included some of my favorite supplies that I use to customize bullet journal printables when I use them. For these mini trackers, I usually use my tape adhesive and either markers or colored pencils to customize them.

Resizing Printable Planner Pages
You may encounter some printables that are US Letter or A4 sized. And if you are wanting to place these in your A5 journal… well, there’s a bit of a size problem.
But, I have a solution.
If you are printing PDF files from Adobe Reader:
- Open your PDF
- Select Print from the File tab
- Click Page Setup at the bottom of the window
- Under the Page Size drop-down menu, select Manage Custom Sizes
- Type in the dimensions of the size you need (ex: 5.8″x 8.3″ for A5)
- Double click on the title on the left (should say “Untitled”) and rename it to the paper size you are using (Ex: A5, Happy Planner, Personal, etc.)
- Click OK and then OK again on the Page Setup Tab
- Back on the Print Window, select Fit under Page Sizing & Handling
- Then click print
If you are using Preview or another Photo Viewing App:
- Open your Image
- Select Print from the File tab
- Under the Paper Size drop-down menu, select Manage Custom Sizes
- Type in the dimensions of the size you need (ex: 5.8″x 8.3″ for A5)
- Double click on the title on the left (should say “Untitled”) and rename it to the paper size you are using (Ex: A5, Happy Planner, Personal, etc.)
- Click OK
- Back on the Print Window, click Print
What to Track in Your Habit Tracker
You can track anything you want. Read that again. Anything.
But… yes, there is a but. I want to reinforce the idea that your bullet journal and habit tracker are yours and that you don’t have to abide by any rules. This is true.
But, if you are using a habit tracker in an effort to create new habits or do away with bad ones, there are some important tips to take note of.
You should only track things that are going to be beneficial to you and your goals. So if you are already good at tidying up your house on a regular basis, then adding it your habit tracker may not be beneficial.
Instead, track habits that get you closer to your goals. Have a fitness goal to run a 5K? One of your habits may be to run daily. Or, add stretching after a run to your habit tracker.
Do you run an MLM business and want to generate more sales? Have habits relating to posting on social media or reaching out to potential customers and clients.
Often times, these habits are going to take more effort to fill in. And this where most of us struggle. We want our habit trackers to be filled in because it’s satisfying. So, we add habits that we know we can fill in every day.
Again, while this is satisfying, these easy daily habits can detract from the tougher ones that are getting you closer to your goals. It’s better to have a smaller list of habits that are a higher priority than to have a big list of items that aren’t really creating any benefit in your life.
