Customization and Printing Tips
Once you’ve got your February planner pages (see below to download), you’ll want to make them fit perfectly into your life – and your planner. You can use them as designed to make a standard letter-size planner (8.5″ x 11″) and put them in a binder (if you’re looking for a heavier cover).
If you’re looking to resize them for various paper sizes, just dive into your printer settings. Adjust away until they’re just right for your binder or notebook. Check out the bottom of this post for more instructions on how to do this.
You get to pick your planner’s vibe too. You can decide between the clip art version I’ve created this month or download the version without clip art and get creative!

How to Resize Your Printables
These files are PDFs, so if you save them to your computer, you will need a PDF reader, like Adobe Reader to open and print it.
Once you’ve done that, follow these easy steps:
- Load your 8.5″ x 11″ paper into the printer.
- Go to FILE > PRINT.
- Click Page Setup or Properties.
- Make sure it is set to the type of paper you are using then choose the custom scale option. Use the table below to set your custom scale to the size you need.
This table is based on printing from 8.5 x 11″.
Planner Type | Paper Size | Scale Percentage |
---|---|---|
A5 | 5.8 X 8.2 inches | 68% |
Half Letter | 5.5 x 8.5 inches | 68% |
A4 | 8.2 X 11.7 inches | 100% |
Personal | 3.7 X 6.7 inches | 44% |
3.2 X 4.7 inches | 38% |
To print other sizes, you can also use the “scale” setting. You can use this simple formula to find out the percentage:
desired planner page size (use either length or width) / actual printable size (corresponding length or width) = %
Remember, when you resize printables, they might not come out exactly right (like, they could be a bit off or have extra space at the top and bottom). You can always use that extra space for more decorations, doodles, and stickers!
