I’m on a mission to be more organized throughout the holiday season this year. Some years I just wing a lot but that often makes me more anxious. Being organized makes the holidays go more smoothly so this year I’ve been putting together some printables to share. Having a Thanksgiving Shopping List is the perfect way to get more organized (especially if you’re hoping to take advantage of holiday deals and sales).
PRINTABLE THANKSGIVING SHOPPING LIST
Once you’ve planned your holiday meal, it’s time to go grocery shopping. There are years where I look forward to the shopping and years where I dread it. I’ll admit that I love the holiday season but I’m never sure how the prep work will hit me.
If the prep work is hitting you hard this year, start out with the printable Thanksgiving Menu Planner and then use it to fill out this shopping list before you hit the store!
If you need help with general timing of your Thanksgiving preparations, I suggest using the printable Thanksgiving Checklist to help you with some of that.
All of the Thanksgiving printables have a coordinating theme so you can use them as a Thanksgiving planner together!
THANKSGIVING GROCERY LIST PRINTABLE
Make sure you have everything you need to roast a turkey and prepare all the trimmings for the big feast on Thanksgiving Day by taking a bit of time to fill out your grocery list printable. You will be thankful you did it!
This list is broken down by parts of the meal and includes space for:
- Beverages
- Appetizers
- Main Dishes
- Side Dishes
- Desserts
I don’t have a separate space for bread or rolls, I usually include them in my side dish planning. You can really write down your items wherever it works best for you!
It’s organized so you can list the dishes you have planned on your menu and then make a list on the other side of the ingredients you need. I set it up this way to offer a bit more organization and to help you see when you might have overlapping ingredients.
I am using this printable shopping list as more of a planning tool than the actual list I take into the store with me.
By writing everything out, you can see which recipes need the same ingredients and figure out the amount you need for each item. Then I transfer the list from the printable to my grocery shopping list (which is usually on a fancy sheet of blank paper from a notebook I picked up at Target).
But it’s a great way to make sure you get enough eggs for everything on your menu!
