I love filling in my habit trackers. They keep me motivated, allow me to see where I’m making progress or slipping. And overall, it’s just a great habit to have. You see what I did there?

It seems like just a year ago, everyone’s habit trackers looked the same. They have the standard horizontal format with rows that are marked off each day. And I’m not bashing on this layout. It’s the layout I went with this month. But, for those who want to shake things up a bit, there are tons of creative habit trackers and layouts that you can use.
Thank God for Pinterest and Instagram.

The Circular Tracker/Intention Wheel
This gorgeous design was created by Kim over at Tiny Ray of Sunshine. While I haven’t used this particular design yet, I have admired it countless times. There something about circles that makes my heart happy. If you would like to buy the printable version, Kim sells them in her Etsy Shop.
Non-Date Specific Tracker
I love the idea of this tracker. If you struggle with feeling inadequate when you miss a spot in your habit tracker, you should give this a try. The idea is to focus on how fast you are filling in the tracker, rather than the days you did or didn’t do what was on your tracker.
Mini Trackers
A fun and unique way to track your habits is with smaller, itemized habit trackers. You can either draw them out or find them for a very reasonable price on Etsy. Simply fill in the top line with the thing you want to track and then mark off each day that you do it. Repeat with each additional item you want to track.
Habit Breaker
How clever is this? Instead of tracking things you want to do, how about tracking things you want to stop doing?
Vertical Tracker with Icons
Up until this month, this has been my go-to layout for my habit tracker. I love the fact that I don’t have to turn my notebook to fill it in. Each tiny icon represents my habits. For instance, the barbell represents workouts and the camera represents Instagram posts. It’s possible to get super creative with this layout. I highly recommend using a super fine point pen for the icons. The Pigma Micron 005 is great for the tiny linework.
The Square Habit Tracker
This one is similar to the circular tracker, or intention wheel. However, it doesn’t require any special tools to draw it out, except a good ruler.
Don’t fret if you still prefer the standard horizontal layout. I got you covered with this post and free printable. And if you join my mailing list, you can access my FREE VIP Resource Library with all of my printables, including mini circle habit trackers.
