My name is Erin and I’m a twenty-something stay-at-home mom, blogger, fitness enthusiast, and journal lover. I started my first bullet journal in May 2015, using a spiral bound, ruled notebook I had in on my many stashes of blank notebooks. I seriously never thought I would keep up on it, let alone make it one the top priorities of my day. I’ve never been able to use a regular planner or even the calendar on my phone for more than a week, although I’ve always had a bit of an obsession with pretty, girly planners.
I started The Petite Planner (formerly Bujos and Java) because I love blogging (I used to write at For the Love of Crust) and sharing my passions with other people. Some things are worth talking about, and some aren’t. But, I thought making a blog dedicated to bullet journaling might encourage other people to start so they could organize and prioritize their life with as much freedom as they needed.
You are also going to see quite a few personal development and self-care posts here. I believe everyone has the potential to be great, achieve their goals, and most importantly, be happy. I have reached a happy, productive, and successful place in my life, and I think it’s worth sharing how I have done it.
Aside from journaling ideas and personal development, I occasionally share a coffee recipe, because it’s my lifeblood and I firmly believe that anyone who’s ever been successful at anything drinks a lot of coffee.
I like pink, which means you’re going to see a lot of it here. Pink notebook, pink ink, pink coffee cups, pink font; I think you’re getting it, right? I’m a bit of a girly girl. I also add a touch of bad humor, so I beg you to bear with me and pretend to laugh when I make poor jokes.
I hope you enjoy my little slice of the internet, stick around, subscribe to my mailing list, and get your journaling on.
